Dark Elixer Farming Cheat Sheet

 

Here are the basic, high impact guidelines for legit, fast DE farming in a serious way.
Depending on your style and sessions, your gains may look something like this:

• 45% from DE storages

• 35% from Drills

• 20% from Bonuses

• (+10% extra Your Own Drills)

 

Push to Crystal III

Barch or snipe TH's to tap Crystal III, then stay between 1,900-2,100 trophies. This will be your DE sweet spot and you'll get the 100 DE C3 win bonus. You will keep C3 bonus as long as you are 1900 trophies and above.

 

 

Lightning Spells

Zap DE storages of 2,000-3,000+ (patiently 'next' -- it's always worth the wait). Depending on your spell level and the DE storage level, you can expect 250-400 DE per zap.

 

 

 

Raid Drills

Zoom to check if drills are full or empty. You can steal up to 75% of DE in drills. Technically, raiding a single, full L6 drill yields the same DE as 3 zaps on a full DE Storage.

 

 

 

Ideal Bases

Many of your raids will be on 'dead' TH10 bases with their TH outside within the 1,900-2,100 range. They will usually have 2,500+ DE -- they are worth 'nexting' for! Bread & butter.

 

If you have barch troops available, but spells are not yet regenerated, a secondary viable option is to raid TH lower if they have 700+ DE. (E.g., TH8's take TH7's) Break into the DE storage and get a 50% 1 star while at it.

 

 

Raid in Sessions

You can take two tracks, based on your schedule:

• Attack back to back, sniping as you go (taking DE bonuses and keeping in trophy range). Optional spell boost has a great payback if used raid in a session. 4 spells every 30m.

• Raid once spell are ready, getting in 5-10 raids in per day. Even if you only get 1,500 per raid, you yield 7,500 - 15,000 DE per day.

 

 

Hit the Sweet G Spot! .... We mean Good... Good Spot!

Make sure to zoom in and hit the center of the ground TILE (not the center of the image) to get the most out of your spells. This can make a huge difference in your zap yields!

 

 

 

Protect Your DE

Now that your DE is overflowing, you are also a target. Having a good DE Farming Base will allow you to get sniped 80-90% of the time and preserve your DE. Many examples are online -- generally your DE storage is in the center of the base and your TH is outside. 

 

Drill Your Own!

Don't forget to build and upgrade your DE drill(s) very early in your TH. Level 3 drills generate 1,080 DE daily each, and Level 6 driil generage 2,400 DE daily each!
